Job Description

Trade Compliance SpecialistTCRS4403


HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Trade Compliance Specialist will support all import and export activities while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

The position is located near Plano TX.

It will be a hybrid work arrangement after initial onboarding and training.

EXPECTATIONS

Indepth knowledge of HTS Country of Origin Valuation Free Trade Agreement etc.

Operational understanding of the U.S. Import entry and Export process

Oversee customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate entry filings

Perform post entry audit and respond to customs request for information (CF28/CF29

Stay current on U.S. import and export regulatory changes and how it impacts procedures

Develop import and export processes to support trade programs and activities

Maintain comprehensive records for import and export transactions

Provide guidance on import or export related issues.

Partner with internal and external partners to establish efficient import and export processes


ESSENTIALS

Bachelors Degree preferred

510 years of Import/Export Compliance experience; electronic industry preferred

Critical thinking and problemsolving ability with minimal direction

Excellent communication and people skills

Strong reporting and analytical experience with attention to detail

Proficient Microsoft applications
