Project Manager with Theme Entertainment Experience

Seeking a new career challenge Then Bermello Ajamil a Woolpert Company (BA) is seeking you! BA is hiring an Architectural Project Manager to join our dynamic architecture team in our Orlando office. This position is responsible for providing overall management direction for existing or new projects and supervising project team members. Ideal candidates will have experience in hospitality and theme entertainment projects.

• Direct project team ensure client compliance with contract terms and monitor subconsultants compliance with contractual commitments.
• Meet with clients to direct project requirements and obtain all information to prepare project documents.
• Has primary responsibility for scheduling planning design specification and working drawings on a given project with authority to direct control organize interpret and monitor all activities.
• Prepare project work plan schedule and budget and communicate these to project team members; monitor/manage project production for compliance with schedule budget and quality objectives.
• Monitor reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of manhours costs and expenses to projects and to communicate project progress/status to senior management.
• Monitor subconsultants progress and performance; review and approve subconsultant and vendor invoices.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with the project team regulatory agencies the client and others involved with the project
• Coordinate and participate in project presentations to clients and other external groups and promote firms capabilities marketing its services among existing and prospective clients
• Supervise technical professionals and design staff.

• Active Professional Registration Licensed Architect
• 10 years of related work experience as a Project Architect and Project Manager
• PMP Certification preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of project management and ability to facilitate technical discussions when needed
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to negotiate influence and manage risk
• Be able to effectively communicate in both internal and external relationships for all essential job functions
• Be able to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data
• Must be able to travel up to 25 for local regional and national clients and projects
