Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Process Technical Manager on behalf of a globally recognised food and nutrition organisation. Based onsite at a largescale production facility in Ballyragget this role is critical to the ongoing optimisation of plant performance and operational excellence across multiple highvolume processing lines including cheese butter milk proteins and whey powder.

This is an exciting opportunity for a handson process leader to collaborate closely with operations quality and engineering teams to identify and implement datadriven improvements across automated systems and key plant processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support plant operations teams in achieving performance KPIs and executing improvement projects

  • Promote and implement best practice health and safety standards across the facility

  • Work with crossfunctional stakeholders to develop and test new or enhanced processes

  • Apply DMAIC and Lean tools to optimise technology performance and resolve issues

  • Analyse MES data to identify trends root causes and opportunities for process improvement

  • Drive KPI monitoring reporting and dataled decision making

  • Lead and support initiatives to troubleshoot issues and recommend interventions to enhance operational efficiency

  • Provide daytoday technical support to operations teams and act as a subject matter expert in process performance

Candidate Profile

  • A thirdlevel qualification in Engineering Food Science or a Processingrelated discipline

  • 35 years experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment

  • Proven ability to analyse MES data troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or product development methodologies (Six Sigma certification highly desirable)

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a proactive and collaborative approach

  • Strong IT and analytical skills with experience handling process information and KPIs

  • Highly motivated and capable of leading change in a complex fastpaced environment
