WHY DOES THIS POSITION EXIST IN CCO
CCOs 10year vision is to activate multiplying leaders toward the fulfillment of Jesus Great Commission. One of the areas of growth for CCO is Beyond Campus which is where Parish Specialists thrive! We need someone who is skilled in Intentional Accompaniment and is spiritual multiplicationminded to expand CCOs reach. The Parish Specialist Spanish Language will help lead CCOs development of support in building movements of Intentional Accompaniment in Spanishspeaking Catholic communities in North America and beyond. We seek to develop and empower movement builders to grow movements of Intentional Accompaniment that centre on CCOs charisms and approaches to mission.
WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO FOR CCO
- Enables CCO to better support evangelization in Spanishspeaking community contexts through collecting data assessing needs proposing solutions and developing materials.
- Openly communicates with the Parish Manager on needs ideas and data findings to inform CCO Parish strategies.
- Creates and executes 1 year plans for projects and goals.
- Spanish translation of existing training and materials.
- Development and Spanish translation of new training and materials.
- Develops movements of Intentional Accompaniment with a focus on Spanish speaking communities throughout North America and beyond.
- Grows leaders according to CCO methods and philosophy.
- Accompanies diocesan leaders to implement Intentional Accompaniment in their diocesan context.
- Develops translates and refines training and content offerings unique to the Spanish speaking community context.
- See and Seize opportunities to grow relationships with a focus on Spanish speaking communities globally increasing CCOs influence.
- Strategically grow parish partnerships with attention to Spanish speaking communities.
- Initiate and analyze feedback from recipients of our programs to ensure relevancy and accuracy of CCOs deliverables.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
Were looking for people who:
- Must have strong written and spoken mastery of the Spanish language.
- Demonstrated ability to grow multiplying movements of Intentional Accompaniment.
- Have an awareness of the unique opportunities and challenges of Catholics within Spanish speaking communities in a North American context.
- Can recognize and characterize subtle cultural and language nuances within the context of Intentional Accompaniment and CCOs methods and materials.
- Have demonstrated skill at utilizing CCOs methods and materials of evangelization (Faith studies Core Values Tenets).
- Experience in operating within and growing CCOs 1234 leadership model.
- Are passionate about CCOs approach to parish & diocesan evangelization and Intentional Accompaniment.
- Remote/online accompaniment experience is an asset.
- Can demonstrate strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work across differing cultural contexts and build collaborative relationships quickly.
- Are effective public speakers and able to deliver training content in Spanish.
- Are entrepreneurial and agile in their ability to coach and redirect in real time.
- Can create complex strategic plans (within the 1 year timeframe) with minimal guidance.
- EnglishtoSpanish translation experience is an asset.
- Experience in complex project management is an asset.
- Must be an actively practicing baptized Catholic.
- Were looking for someone who has a love for the Spanish language and context is passionate about sharing the Gospel and witnessing conversion and who wants to equip others to build multiplying movements toward the fulfillment of the Great commission.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

- As a Responsibility Level 3 position the starting annual salary is $54200.28 and is based on a 40 hour work week. Salaries increase with years of experience.
