THE POSITION
Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest South Mountain Restoration Center a Long Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated reliable candidate for the Clerical Assistant 2 position. This position will support the medical and nursing staff at the facility. In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 will perform duties under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Duties are considered moderately complex and the CA2 will be performing administrative and clerical duties for the nursing units at a nursing station in the living areas of the facility benefiting the staff residents and all other departments. Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30minute lunch.
- Hours may change based on operational needs.

- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
