We are searching for an Accounting Associate to join the Accounting and Finance team in our Phoenix office.

We are searching for a Senior Accounting Associate to join the Accounting and Finance team in our Phoenix office. We are a team of nine handling all accounting and finance for our North America operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in client invoicing vendor invoicing and general accounting.
Our Phoenix office is home to a variety of different roles and functions such as our Project Management Team Print Production Development Graphic Design and of course Accounting and Finance. The fun factor is BIG. Youll laugh a lot. No really. We believe in having fun while we work. Lifes too short right And we do our work in a teambased hybrid setting albeit remotely for the most part where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day. Our office space is located in the Camelback Corridor (Biltmore). Weve got tech startup amenities (think stocked fridge pingpong table gym etc. which can be enjoyed during our time in the office.
While we are looking for someone in Phoenix the expectation of being in the office is minimal just a few times a month at most for team meetings. If you like working in an office and want to come in more than that as some of our teammates do have at it!
Responsibilities
- Preparation of client invoices and supporting documentation in connection with client orders and contracts
- Collection activities related to assigned clients based on payment terms
- Assisting with the entry review and reconciliation of vendor invoices.
- Researches and resolves questions and issues independently and ensures information in all systems is accurate and properly recorded
- Internal and external communications with clients/vendors and BTS Account Managers
- Audit of employee expenses including followup with consultants as needed
- Documenting and updating accounting processes and procedures
- Financial analysis and special projects as directed
What Were Looking For
- A degree in an Accountingrelated field is required and experience in an accounting role is a MUST.
- Ability to work in a remote environment but also staying connected to the team via Slack and email throughout the working day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary in this team environment.
- Being a problem identifier as well as a problem solver is vital.
- Experience with multiple currency is a plus.
- Curiosity creativity dependable initiative and roll up your sleeves mentality.
- Eligible to work in the US permanently without sponsorship.
