What You Will Do:
The Ohio Attorney Generals Office is currently seeking an experienced individual for an OHLEG Support Specialist vacancy in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Section London Ohio office. This position will report to the London location daily. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation known as BCI is the states official crime lab serving the criminal justice community and protecting Ohio families. BCI also provides expert criminal investigative services to local state and federal law enforcement agencies upon request. With offices throughout the state BCI stands ready to respond 24/7 to local law enforcement agencies needs at no cost to the requesting agency.
Staff at BCI work every day to provide the highest level of service. This includes special agents who are on call 24/7 to offer investigative assistance at crime scenes knowledgeable scientists and forensic specialists using cuttingedge technology to process evidence to bring criminals to justice and criminal intelligence analysts and identification specialists who help local law enforcement solve cases. Experienced special agents forensic scientists and other law enforcement experts staff BCIs three main divisions: 1 Identifications 2 Investigations and 3 Laboratory.
The successful candidate will provide technical support to the states law enforcement community regarding access to the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG). These and other important duties include:

24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in criminal justice information systems OR operation & maintenance of personal computers.
Or completion of associate core program in Criminal Justice Public Safety Emergency Management Information Technology Computer Science Criminal Justice with specialization in information systems or related course of study.
