Job Title: GenAI Manager
Role Description:
The GenAI Manager at PwC US will be responsible for leading and managing a team of developers and data engineers with a focus on building Pythonbased applications and solutions leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. The role requires expertise in application development data engineering and a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts to drive innovation and deliver highquality solutions.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related field Masters degree preferred)
Relevant certifications in Python programming AI ML or data engineering (e.g. Python Institute Certified Associate TensorFlow Developer Certificate AWS Certified Big Data Specialty) are highly desirable
Number of Years of Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Pythonbased application development and data engineering
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing teams and driving strategic initiatives
Required Skills:
Proficiency in GenaAI based application development and a focus on leveraging AI and ML technologies
Strong Experience in Python programming and related frameworks (e.g. Django Flask)
Extensive experience in building scalable and robust applications using Python
Solid understanding of data engineering principles and technologies (e.g. ETL data pipelines data warehousing)
Familiarity with AI and ML concepts algorithms and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and their AI/ML services
Experience with database systems (e.g. SQL NoSQL) and data modeling
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
Selfmotivated and proactive with a passion for learning and staying uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of developers and data engineers providing guidance mentorship and support to team members
Design develop and deploy Pythonbased applications and solutions that leverage AI and ML technologies
Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines ensuring data quality and integrity
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists business analysts and UX/UI designers to deliver innovative and scalable solutions
Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in AI ML data engineering and software development and identify opportunities to apply them in client projects
Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Assist in project management activities including estimating effort tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of solutions
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions to address their challenges in AI ML and data engineering
Ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and quality assurance processes
