Our client a local nonprofit organization is seeking a Front Desk Administrator for an engaging contract opportunity in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. Working with this highly reputable organization and acting as the front line for all inquiries and inoffice visitors the successful candidate possesses a high level of empathy and compassion and is accustomed to working in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Reception (phone calls email general inquiries)
  • Maintaining electronic databases and records
  • Collecting physical mail and arranging for couriers
  • Assisting with and hosting meetings and training programs
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Other duties and project support work as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • 2 years experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite and ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and friendly demeanour
  • Confident in maintaining efficiency while working independently in an office setting
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • Proactively takes initiative consistently identifying and addressing needs and opportunities without prompting
Compensation:
  • $20.00 per hour
