Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Coordinator Position
The CFCE Coordinator is responsible for planning implementing and evaluating the goals objectives and action steps necessary to ensure the integrity and success of the CFCE grant initiatives in full compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care mandates and requirements.
This position will begin with 10 hours per week from January 25 to June 30 and transition to a fulltime role of 30 hours per week starting July 1 2024.
10 hour position 01/256/30/25
- Oversee playgroups and assist playgroup facilitator in running biweekly programs
- Grant Writing: Play a key role in writing and organizing grant proposals and amendments.
- Develop a monthly calendar/newsletter designed for children and families.
- Transition Support: Assist families with children transitioning from home to school within preschools and from preschool to kindergarten; facilitate Kindergarten Readiness programs.
- Attend MA Department of Early Education and Care meetings and training sessions
- Oversee program assessment data collection and complete quarterly and monthly reporting.
- Job Shadow CFCE Coordinator to learn daily operation of the program
30 hour position staring 7/1/24
- Fiscal Oversight: Manage the budget and coordinate all financial aspects of the grant initiatives; collaborate closely with the financial analyst.
- Team Management: Oversee the hiring onboarding and supervision of the Project Apples team members; work collaboratively with the ParentChild Coordinator.
- Oversee parenting education programs.
- Ensure families have access to resources that support their wellbeing and childrens development.
- Enhance awareness and access to highquality early education and care programs for families with children aged 05.
- Facilitate connections to comprehensive services to ensure families have access to resources that support their wellbeing and childrens development.

- Coordinate and facilitate quarterly council meetings and collaborate with community agencies to develop appropriate programming to meet grant initiatives
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and three years experience
- Occasional nights for CFCE program implementation
- Familiarity with Leominster Public Schools Early Childhood Programs
- Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals across various levels of education income race ethnicities and identities over a broad geographic area
- Ability to drive in the day and evening; lift 25 pounds and carry training equipment as necessary.
- Ability to effectively communicate in person over the phone through video conferencing and email communications.
- Ability to lead others and work independently
- Knowledge of current Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care system
