Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing the financial planning and analysis processes for GREF ensuring accurate cost distribution driving financial transparency across the organization. This role will also support of global initiatives and improvements across the greater GREF landscape. This individual will work with global business partners local finance teams accounting teams and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver on these goals
Key job responsibilities
Financial Planning Analysis and Process Optimization:
Develop implement and continuously improve endtoend financial planning and analysis processes methodologies and frameworks for GREF
Lead the design and of financial models that support accurate financial reporting and decisionmaking
Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plans
Own system integrations and data flow related to FP&A processes
Stay current with industry best practices and integrate innovative approaches into GREFs financial planning and analysis methodologies
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Oversee the production of highquality financial reports and analyses related to GREF operations
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial processes
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decisionmaking
Lead monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics analyze variances to forecast and communicate key drivers to senior management
Chart of Accounts Management and Systems Ownership:
Serve as the subject matter expert for IBM Cognos/TM1 FRAMES and Spectra
Lead system enhancements upgrades and integrations for these platforms to support GREFs financial processes
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of these systems for financial planning and reporting purposes
7 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
7 years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience
7 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
7 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
7 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 7 years of quantitative role (engineering process reengineering quality assurance) experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
