The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2 (TSIA2 Testing Specialist is responsible for planning coordinating and managing the TSIA2 testing logistics training and data extractions for grades includes test security materials management and reporting data in formats that can be integrated into Sheldon ISD student information systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years working with office management and logistics in an educational environment
- TSIA2 management experience in a high school setting is preferred
- Understanding of FERPA law

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Ensures that the location is prepared for testing including scheduling securing a space and assigning proctors
- Oversees the secure administration of TSIA2 on test days
- Collaborates with district and campus administrators to obtain student rosters create vouchers and secure computers for initial testing and retesting opportunities
- Collaborates with San Jacinto College and SISD academic departments to facilitate TSIA 2 testing services
- Develops TSIA2 testing calendar and coordinates dates with campus testing coordinator and administrators
- Prepares Accuplacer files for integration with Sheldon ISD student information systems
- Creates Accuplacer accounts for Sheldon ISD staff and proctors
- Ensures that proctors and site administrators maintain proper Accuplacer credentials
- Maintains compliance with FERPA
- Obtains a list of students who need accommodations and ensures that testing vouchers include the correct accommodations
- Coordinates voucher orders with college partners and high school administrators to ensure that the appropriate vouchers are available for test dates
- Attends Accuplacer TSIA2 training and meets requirements for being the district and site administrator
- Adheres to Accuplacer TSIA2 security and administration standards
- Provides training for all TSIA2 administrators and proctors
- Serves as the TSIA2 liaison between Accuplacer Sheldon ISD and the San Jacinto College North testing coordinator to facilitate testing services
- Provides information to assist with budget preparation and expenditures related to TSIA2
- Answer phone emails and other communications to assist students staff and faculty with testing inquiries
- Performs tasks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of TSIA2 testing
- Enforces institutional policies and procedures
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

This is a 217day position requires work to be done in person and onsite. It may include overtime for work after hours and on weekends.
