Job Description
The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of K3Life Skills Ed tech Iat Paris Elementary School in South Paris ME.
Paris Elementary School is located in South Paris and serves approximately 400 students in grades PreK6. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their colleagues to encourage inspire and support the learning process for all students.
Candidates must hold a valid Ed Tech certificate.
Reports to: Building Principal
Work Schedule: 180 Day Contract
Expectations of Oxford Hills School District Staff:
As contributing members of the districts learning community all district staff members are expected to:
- Model a strong work ethic perseverance and grit as well as responsibility and respect;
- Utilize best practices for motivating todays students in a safe supportive learning environment;
- Demonstrate knowledge in the development of realworld learning experiences and community partnerships to provide students with opportunities for extensions of learning applied learning community service and citizenship;
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to collaborate engage and communicate with colleagues parents and the public.
Further instructional staff will emphasize and employ practices that lead to improvement in student achievement by:
- Instilling problemsolving and critical thinking as a new basics for learning across all grade levels;
- Delivering strong literacy instruction across content areas;
- Helping student develop skills to apply interpret analyze and evaluate the vast everexpanding amount of information;
- Employing effective lesson design by adjusting to students personal learning needs and preferences including appropriate technology applications.
