Job Description
Job Title: Part Time Truck Driver Wage/Hour Status:NonExempt
Reports to:Driver Supervisor Pay Grade:$21.25 per hour
Dept./School:Transportation Days:As Needed
Primary Purpose:Safely transport band equipment to and from extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Class A CDL
- Good driving record
- Pass D.O.T. physical preemployment drug test and background check
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to safely drive a vehicle (Truck/tractor with trailer) in all weather and road conditions
Experience:
- Six 6 years of general driving experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate truck/tractor with trailer
- Maintain required records
- Report needed repairs
- Pretrip and post trip inspections of vehicle
Supervisory Responsibilities:None
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
