Overview
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our RV Parts Distribution Warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of RV parts and accessories through the supply chain ensuring timely delivery to customers while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills a problemsolving mindset and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of RV parts and accessories ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking packing and shipping of customer orders ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery timelines.
Transportation Coordination: Arrange freight and logistics with carriers negotiating rates when necessary and tracking shipments to ensure ontime delivery.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in warehouse workflows such as layout adjustments or streamlined picking processes to enhance efficiency.
Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data (e.g. shipping costs delivery times) to identify trends and recommend costsaving or performanceenhancing strategies.
Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies safety regulations and industry standards.
Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer service team to address shipping inquiries resolve delays and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 23 years in logistics supply chain or warehouse operations preferably in a distribution or partsbased environment. Experience with RV parts or automotive industries is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
Skills
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar).
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with shipping carriers and freight logistics.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
Certifications: Forklift certification or HAZMAT training is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
Fulltime position based in the RV Parts Distribution Warehouse.
Typical hours: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
