Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school dipolma or GED equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in general office management and procedures.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency in applied technology (Microsoft Office suite Google Drive).
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity regarding employment records student records and departmental issues.
  5. Must be selfmotivated possess the ability to work under pressure able to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
  6. Operate ten key by touch with accuracy and speed preferred.
  7. Competency on CFISD proficiency test (Score of 85 or above and a minimum of 50 wpm typing skills) preferred.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 Days

SALARY/PAY GRADE:

$36423/CP5as approved by the Board of Trustees

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work as part of a team to contribute to the success of the CFISD athletic program.
  2. Assist with the coordination of all districtwide athletic events and contests.
  3. Work with staff members to coordinate and process payment for officials and workers for all sporting events.
  4. Obtain and schedule workers for athletic events held at the Berry Center Arena CyFair FCU Stadium and Pridgeon Stadium.
  5. Process and track travel advances for tournaments and playoffs and travel reimbursements for employees.
  6. Process deposits and maintain spreadsheets for entry fees for district athletic event
  7. Complete UIL playoff game reports for teams that compete in playoffs.
  8. Assist with ticket sales for districtwide and campus based activities.
  9. Assist the assistant athletic administrative team (which includes directors coordinators and other assistants) with the of their duties and responsibilities.
  10. Answer and respond to incoming calls take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff.
  11. Ensure that customer service skills are evident in daily communication including telephone calls emails and facetoface interactions.
  12. Assist with making meeting arrangements for department activities including preparing materials scheduling and setting up facilities and arranging equipment.
  13. Assisting with retrieving and distributing office mail.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of information.
  15. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Maintain emotional control under stress; tolerate moderate noise levels; work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of a computer prolonged sitting.
