Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) is a place for kids to laugh learn grow and belong. It is the dedication of caring and trained professionals that make this possible for our youth. BGCLC is looking for a passionate funloving energetic individual to help foster a fun safe and positive summer child care experience for schoolaged youth in Larimer County.


In this position you will:

  • Lead schoolaged youth in different activities such as academic enrichment recreation technology sports and the arts.
  • Ensure the physical social and emotional safety for all Club Members.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for youth ages 6 18 (ages vary based on the Club location).

You must be willing to:

  • Have fun laugh & be silly!
  • Be present and engage with Club Members.
  • Be a role model for Club Members.


This is a seasonal nonexempt parttime position with a starting range of pay of $16/hour $17.50/hour.Dates for this seasonal position: May 27 2025 August 1 2025 (for BGCLC Traditional Clubs).Dates for this seasonal position: May 27 2025 July 25 2025 (for Thompson school district clubs).
Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 460 experience hours working with groups of four or more youth ages 512. (Some locations)

Specialized Skills

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a background check and reference checks.

The noise level in the work environment is chaotic and loud.
