Sentara Urgent Care Gloucester is now hiring a Patient Care Specialist in Gloucester VA!
Schedule: Clinic hours 8:00a.m. 8:00p.m. MondayFriday. Saturday and Sunday 8am4pm. Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates availability.
As aPatient Care Specialistwith Sentara Health you will provide nonclinical support within a physicians office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones scheduling appointments and answering patient questions. Education
- HS High School Grad or Equivalent
Experience
- Three 3 years Clerical Customer Service experience required.
- One year experience with Health Insurance Plans Medical Records Data Medical Terminology Registration Scheduling or ThirdParty Payers required.
- An Associates level degree in lieu of the required experience will be considered.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.

We provide marketcompetitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.92 $25.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/oncall overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.Legal Resources Plan
