What Youll Do:
Patient Scheduling: Schedule new patient consults followup appointments and ancillary tests with accuracy and efficiency using computerized scheduling programs.
Urgent Scheduling: Respond quickly to urgent scheduling requests coordinating with providers and departments.
Customer Service Excellence: Create a welcoming and supportive experience for patients ensuring they feel valued and informed.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the clinical team to support department needs and optimize patient care.
Insurance Authorization & Intake: Update and enter insurance authorizations and preauthorizations as necessary for all scheduled encounters.
Patient Communication: Provide necessary preprocedure instructions confirm appointments and intake demographics and insurance information.
What Were Looking For:
Experience: 2 years in a medical office setting preferred with knowledge of scheduling medical terminology and workflows.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and communication.
Organizational Strength: Ability to multitask prioritize and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to interact effectively with patients providers and colleagues.
Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance processes and authorizations is a plus.
