Tavares High School
Tavares High School is located just a few blocks away from picturesque downtown Tavares also known as Americas Seaplane City. Tavares has a popular seaplane base on Lake Dora just a short walk from the high school. Roughly 80 teachers and 1500 students attend school in the classic Florida style building. Mission statement: The mission of Tavares High School is to prepare students to become confident selfdirected lifelong learners who will make positive contributions to society.
