Job Description

  • Help shape a positive respectful workplace culture through early intervention and strategic advice
  • Temporary (up to 19th December 2025 fulltime 35 hours per week) opportunity
  • Office location Parramatta Newcastle or Orange 23 office days per week)
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $125693.00 $138510.00 Super

The role:
In this role youll work closely with leaders across the Department to support the resolution of complex people mattersthink performance conduct disputes and everything in between. Youll be a trusted advisor helping to guide fair and timely solutions that improve outcomes for individuals and the broader organisation. Its a role that balances the human side of workplace relations with a strategic systemsthinking mindset.

Youll need to navigate sensitive issues often with competing views while keeping communication clear and solutions peoplefocused. Whether its guiding early intervention partnering on best practice policies or helping build leadership capability youll be part of shaping a strong respectful workplace culture.

About you:

  • Youre confident handling complex people challenges and finding practical fair outcomes.
  • You bring strong knowledge of workplace relations and employment legislation.
  • You know how to influence negotiate and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Youre proactive collaborative and comfortable working in a fastpaced highstakes environment.
  • You can think critically manage competing priorities and communicate clearlyespecially when things get tricky.
