OBJECTIVE |
An Interns responsibilities include completing tasks assigned to them in support ofthe AAMA Prevention and Counselingshigh standards and values. In addition to assigned tasks the intern is expected to demonstrate professionalism arrive on time and follow instructions.
Some of an interns duties might involveassisting with clients preparing materials assisting with recordkeeping helping with cleaning up afterclientsandworking jointly withtrained personnel.
Wheninternsare on duty their dress should conform to thePrevention and Counseling Centersdress code.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES |
All Interns will be required to complete a Background Check and Drug Test as well as required training.
Internswill be required to check in and out at the front deskof thePrevention and Counseling Center. This record allowsAAMAto know who is in the building as well as track hours.
Internsare required towear name badges provided by thecounseling centeras a security measure.
Interns are requiredto learn counseling centerprocedures and follow them.

- Familiar with the basic functions of a computer.
