About the Team

We are an innovative team pushing the boundaries of technology data science AI and research to develop new products that address complex customer challenges. Our work drives cuttingedge forecasting solutions that help the automotive industry navigate supply chain disruptions evolving technologies and supplier dynamics.

We provide critical insights into the supply chain of automotive parts technology adoption and supplier logistics. Our team produces granular forecast datasets and written analyses leveraging multiple research channels and vast data sources to predict technology trends supplier movements and industry shifts.

About the Role

The Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising a portfolio of strategic automotive supply chain and forecasting projects. They maintain a deep awareness of details while staying elevated enough to identify risks dependencies and opportunities across multiple projects.

They will be intimately familiar with project particularly for key initiatives and capable of communicating clear status updates risks and recommendations at a senior level. Beyond tracking progress they will enforce adherence to scope implement efficient project systems and coach teams to drive accountability and best practices.

This role requires collaboration with senior leadership research analysts data scientists product teams and external development partners to ensure projects align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact.

This role is based in the UK with the option for remote or hybrid working.

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Strategic Program Oversight Maintain a midtodetailed view of all projects ensuring alignment with business priorities while proactively managing interdependencies risks and challenges.
  • Scope & Risk Management Ensure strict adherence to project scope proactively flagging deviations and driving corrective action before they impact delivery.
  • Accountability & Coaching Guide project managers coaching them in best practices and ensuring they take ownership of timelines and quality standards.
  • DataDriven Decision Making Use data analysis and KPI tracking to drive efficiency quality and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Deliver clear concise updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders outlining key milestones progress risks and recommendations while ensuring transparency across teams.
  • Efficient Resource & Budget Management Oversee resource allocation across projects ensuring teams are optimally staffed budgets are monitored and risks to delivery are escalated and resolved.

What Were Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Portfolio Management Experience Minimum 710 years of experience in portfolio program or project management specifically within a data and insights product company. Candidates must have a proven track record of managing multiple datadriven projects overseeing forecasting analytics or AIdriven solutions and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Education & Certifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 is preferred.
  • Project & Program Management Expertise Strong ability to oversee multiple projects manage interdependencies enforce governance and drive .
  • Data & Analytical Skills Comfortable working with data manipulation and analysis tracking KPIs and using insights to inform decisionmaking.
  • Stakeholder Communication Proven ability to engage with senior leadership translate complex project details into clear updates and influence decisions.
  • Software & Tools Proficiency Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools such as Jira Asana Trello Microsoft 365 (Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Teams) and AIdriven project tracking systems.
  • Agile & Program Governance Experience working with Agile methodologies enterprise portfolio management tools and structured governance frameworks.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
