About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 34 years of handson experience in software testing and quality assurance. As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams lead testing efforts and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality performance and reliability of software applications.
Collaborate with developers product managers and designers to identify potential issues early in the development process and contribute to improving the overall product quality.
Conduct thorough manual testing including functional regression integration and performance testing to identify and document defects effectively.
Perform root cause analysis on defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution and prevent their recurrence.
Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our QA efforts.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends tools and technologies related to quality assurance and testing and apply relevant advancements to our QA processes.
Collaborate with the QA team to create and maintain a comprehensive test environment ensuring it accurately reflects the production environment.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
Strong proficiency in manual testing techniques with the ability to design and execute test cases effectively.
Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in Agile testing practices.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Experience in handling and mentoring teams conducting onetoone meetings with team members and providing constructive feedback.
An insatiable learning urge demonstrated by a proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and continuously improving testing skills.
