Job Description
Apeirum is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work with our client a European startup redefining digital mortages. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes to help the client achieve specific infrastructure goals within a focused timeframe.
Tasks
Fully dedicated to:
- CI/CD: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for more efficient application deployment
- CI/CD: Work with development teams to streamline deployment processes
- Ops: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our cloudnative environment
Support existing team:
- Document infrastructure and processes for longterm maintenance
- Platform: Support and enhance our existing Kubernetes clusters running production workloads on GCP.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of handson experience running production Kubernetes workloads in cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of GCP services and architecture patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like for example Prometheus and Grafana
Bonus Skills
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Python programming skills for automation
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools particularly ArgoCD (bonus)
- Knowledge of infrastructureascode approaches
