Job Summary
North Central Texas College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach college courses in Business Management curriculum. This position carries with it the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College in carrying out the duties of the position. It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of course and program objectives and to contribute to the overall educational environment of the college and community and to provide related services such as academic advising committee participation professional development community development as well as other service support that is needed in the fulfillment of the North Central Texas Colleges Mission. Responsibilities and Duties: Planning and teaching undergraduate courses in business aware of the current business climate and enhance courses appropriately. Work with business department advisory council annual meetings and regular communication in order to maintain a current awareness of job demands in industry. Treating students and colleagues with respect. Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes program level outcomes and marketable skill achievement. Focusing teaching and outreach efforts on student success. Maintaining accurate and complete course records as required by North Central Texas College. Participating in planning implementing and evaluating assigned courses. Working effectively within a group or independently; student oriented and able to meet deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution.
