Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Management Support Specialist to assist our program managers and engineering teams in planning coordinating and executing critical projects. This individual will be instrumental in driving project success through effective control account management scheduling and earned value oversight while also providing essential administrative and coordination support.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead project planning activities including scheduling resource allocation and budgeting

Manage Control Accounts (CAM) and maintain earned value measurements

Track and report on project progress identifying issues and escalating as needed

Facilitate communication between internal teams external stakeholders and partners

Provide expert support for CAM activities including variance analysis and corrective actions

Prepare and maintain project documentation such as meeting minutes action items and status reports

Develop and refine project management tools templates and best practices

Collaborate cross-functionally particularly with Operations to ensure seamless project execution

Strong knowledge of project management principles including scheduling and earned value management (EVM)

Proven analytical and leadership abilities with the capability to assess complex data and trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience engaging with senior leadership

Proficiency in data analysis tools especially Microsoft Excel

Minimum 8 years of experience in project management control account management or a related role

Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects in a product development environment

Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project PM Compass or OpenPlan
-
Bachelors degree in business administration engineering project management or a related field

Experience in the defense industry

Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP CAPM)

Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks
