The Opportunity: Structural Engineer Melbourne
Were growing and our Melbourne Structural team is playing a key role in this exciting journey. Were on the lookout for a passionate Structural Engineer to join our talented team reporting to an experienced Associate Director. If youre eager to take your engineering career to the next level and work on diverse meaningful projects we want to hear from you.
In this role you will:
- Take ownership of planning and managing resources for small to mediumsized projects or key parts of larger projects
- Apply deep engineering knowledge to design and deliver smart solutions
- Collaborate closely with senior staff to tackle complex problems with innovative thinking
- Prepare highquality designs documentation specifications reports and fee proposals
- Ensure deliverables align with client requirements and project timelines
Skills And Experiences
About you:
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Membership with Engineers Australia (required)
- CPEng / NER
- Strong background in structural engineering; nominally 23 years experience.
- Understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
- Problem solving/analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate information of a complex nature.
- Advanced skills in productivity software such as Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver highquality outputs
