Position: Carpenter
Department: Engineering

Normal Working Hours:
Varied; Normally 8:00AM to 4:30PM but will vary dependent upon work assignments and hotel needs.

Past Work Experience Requirements:
Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Communication Skills Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Technical Requirements:
Valid West Virginia Drivers License
Any special skills a plus

Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 70 pounds regularly
Walking
Standing
Climbing ladders scaffolding stairs continuously
Ability to work in confined spaces

Work Conditions:
Hot
Cold
Dirty
Wet
Long hours
Confined spaces
Working in high places and on scaffolding

Required Supervision:
Ability to follow specific general instructions
Independent decision making skills required
Ability to work independently

Other Requirements:
Scaffolding erection
Overtime required
