We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing and Communications team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days in the office.
As an Events Specialist you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional internal and external events that enhance our brand experience and drive positive outcomes.
We will count on you to:
- Design and deliver Marsh McLennan internal and external events ensuring alignment with strategic investment and growth priorities while delivering an exceptional brand experience for clients and colleagues.
- Develop comprehensive communication and engagement plans including registration and pre/postevent touchpoints with a strong focus on bringing the brand experience to life.
- Manage project planning and operations collaborating closely on brand and events strategy development and monitor measure and report on the success of events against objectives.
What you need to have:
- A minimum of three 3 years of event experience in a hospitality corporate or agency environment.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring all aspects of events are executed to a high standard.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt messages for various audiences.
What makes you stand out:
- A degree in marketing communications journalism or business/commerce (with a major in one of these areas) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with using and learning different marketing and communication platforms and digital event management systems.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and innovate bringing fresh ideas to the table.
