Minimum Requirements: National Diploma (NQF Level 6 in Human Resources Management Industrial Psychology or a related field. Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7 in HR or related field is advantageous. 46 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a generalist or HR management role. Indepth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices. Experience with payroll and performance systems (e.g. Sage). Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills. Valid South African Drivers License.
Duties and Responsibilities: HR Leadership & Strategy: Serve as the goto HR resource for the organization aligning people strategy with business goals. Talent Management: Oversee recruitment onboarding performance reviews and succession planning. Policy Development & Training: Create implement and communicate HR policies; deliver staff workshops and compliance training. HR Systems & Tools: Set up and manage performance and leave tracking systems; train staff on usage and updates. Payroll & Benefits Administration: Establish payroll processes and manage benefit structures (e.g. provident fund medical aid). Compliance Management: Ensure full adherence to labour laws and oversee statutory reporting (e.g. SARS UIF COIDA). Employee Relations: Handle disciplinary processes conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives. Workplace Wellness: Collaborate with partners to deliver health and wellness programs tailored to staff needs. HR Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyse HR metrics to support strategic decisionmaking. Training & Development: Identify skills gaps and coordinate internal and external training opportunities.
