You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Director of Industry and Professional Engagement the Manager of Employer Services and Training Programs team is responsible for managing the Employer Services team to operationalize the Academic and Industry Integrations (aii) divisions efforts to deliver a central intake model for industry and community partners to further engage with Sheridan College.
Under the direction of the Director and in collaboration with the Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) unit the incumbent is responsible for leading the business development of corporate training as a means of further business diversification that results in net new revenue for CAPS and Sheridan.
The incumbent is also responsible for leading the implementation of the divisions employer engagement strategies by developing and implementing targeted approaches to attract incentivize engage and retain employers to partner with Sheridan and Sheridans students. To support these efforts the Manager will also manage the divisions brand and lead the development and update of new and existing communications and marketing assets.

You have an innate ability to formulate strategies and plans to support goals and objectives along with attention to technical excellence and design and quality.
You bring management and/or leadership work experience in a postsecondary educational environment or similar experience in training and development environment.
You have an ability to empower and influence a team of direct and nondirect reports to plan supervise and implement quality training solutions and partnership agreements within prescribed timelines and budget.
You bring a sound understanding of the challenges emerging trends and issues in postsecondary education or challenges faced by corporate and community partners for reskilling/upskilling
