WHO WE ARE SEEKING:
Peak Fitness and Recovery is a premier fitness center dedicated to providing exceptional health and wellness services to our community in Mesa AZ. We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Attendant to be the welcoming face of our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests by managing front desk operations efficiently and courteously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly greet members and guests ensuring a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival and departure.
- Answer and manage incoming calls providing information about services class schedules and membership options.
- Assist members in scheduling personal training sessions and classes coordinating with trainers and instructors to optimize scheduling.
- Process new member registrations and renewals verify membership status and maintain accurate records
- Process payments for memberships merchandise and other services ensuring accuracy and providing receipts.
- Monitor the front desk and lobby areas to ensure cleanliness and organization adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Uphold and enforce facility policies and procedures addressing member concerns or directing them to appropriate management when necessary.
COMPENSATION
We are committed to equitable compensation for all employees. The base salary range for this role is $14.70 per hour. Compensation is determined based on various factors including work experience and location. Our compensation is highly competitive within our industry and we adjust overall compensation based on relevant experience skills certifications and geographic location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in a fitness or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with scheduling software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and services is advantageous.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds
