This position will provide supervision leadership and support to the business. The Business Unit Manager will ensure smooth and efficient operations for jet engine assembly disassembly and test processes. This will require active searching for opportunities to enhance the production processes and the product using a variety of problemsolving techniques effective interpersonal and communication skills along with technical competencies. The Weekend Business Unit Manager will promote excellent employee relations and empowerment of all assigned personnel. This role will partner with the Business Unit Managers from Gate 1 Gate 2 and Gate 3 to meet expectations of engines in progress. This role reports to the Engine Center Operations Manager.
What You Will Do:
You are expected to reflect leadership behaviors hold self and others accountable encourage teamwork and deliver a quality work product you are expected to lead by example and in accordance with Pratt & Whitney culture and values expectations
Manage and coach operations supervisors supervising hourly employees within a cellular environment
Ensure all production activity meets established quality standards and cost estimates; lead analysis and development of processes performance metrics and trends to drive increased performance and production cycle time
Aid in the development of budgets forecasts succession planning and strategic development
Coach employees to develop a motivated effective team and proactively address performance issues as needed
Lead process improvement opportunities using Lean strategies to enhance quality decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs.
Implement rootcause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Meet the schedule plan and execute contingency plans.
Qualification You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree and 10 years of experience to include leading teams manufacturing operations and continuous improvement or an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience to include leading teams manufacturing operations and continuous improvement

Experience in Aerospace Maintenance Repair and Operations
Aftermarket operations experience
Successful completion of RTX enterprise OSCLDP in 2025

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
