Primary Job Responsibilities:
Youve worked with many programming languages but you love working with the good parts of Angular JS and D3 JS the most. You have a strong understanding of closures and the prototypal features of the language and you enjoy writing code that is expressive and elegant. You often come up with innovative solutions to problems but will always use the best tool for the job. You enjoy working in a decentralized teambased environment and youre great at getting things done both autonomously and by pairprogramming with a teammate.

You will be part of the VCA Engineering team and most of our UI Code is written in Angular JS and D3 Js backed by Rest APIs.
This is a fulltime position at our Research & Development Centre in Bangalore India and includes a competitive base salary and an awesome team of creative people by your side.
Job Requirements:
- Passion for developing excellent software and an appreciation for elegant code
- Very strong JavaScript background with emphasis on performance and succinctness
- Strong understanding of browser environments and crossbrowser compatibility nuance
- Experience with frontend MV* frameworks Angular JS is a must.
- Experience with D3Js and High Charts.
- Experience with JSON and RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing responsive mobile browserbased applications a plus
- Strong CSS skills (Compass/SASS experience a plus)
- Open source project contributions a plus
- Experience with version control and complex javascript applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Skills:
- The ability to discern the essence of the problem cut through complex problems and generate clean obviousinretrospect solutions
- Drives PM and BU to think beyond their area about the endtoend experience.
- Leads discussion on strategies and facilitates concept generation with longterm view. Incorporates contributions from crossfunctional partners.
- Teaches advanced techniques and processes to help others to grow.
- Promotes best practices at all times to help increase shared knowledge.
- Demonstrates use of metrics requirements constraints and creativity to provide optimal solutions.
