The Glasgow Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of a vibrant city offering exceptional service and a modern luxurious experience for our guests. With a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help us grow our market presence and elevate our business to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Implement Strategies: Drive growth and expand our market presence through the creation and of effective business development strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Identify reach out to and engage potential clients through proactive networking research and outreach efforts.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to align business development initiatives with companywide goals and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends opportunities and evaluate the competitive landscape.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients highlighting our hotels services and unique offerings.
  • KPIs & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and report progress to management.
  • Client Management: Utilize CRM and other software tools to manage client interactions track leads and document key milestones.

Skills & Experience:

  • Hospitality Expertise: Proven experience in hospitality specializing in selling meetings events large banqueting and corporate contracts.
  • Sales Focus: Ability to thrive in a goaloriented fastpaced environment with a strong sales drive.
  • Account Management: Skilled in managing accounts and fostering longterm relationships with clients.
  • Networking Enthusiast: Passionate about building a wide network of professional contacts.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data market trends and competitive intelligence.
  • SelfStarter: Motivated resultsoriented and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • ProblemSolver: Proactive and solutionoriented in overcoming challenges in a competitive environment.
