REPORTS TO: Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To assist certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students; monitor and report student progress. Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of the academic program; other related duties as required.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Generally the job requires 34 sitting 33 walking and 33 standing. The job is performed under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness and in a clean atmosphere. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

EMPLOYMENT: This is a ninemonth contract 182 days). Salary is based on the current salary schedule. This contract will be prorated from the starting date for the remaining school calendar.
WORK SCHEDULE: The workday shall be established by the building principal but shall not exceed 7.5 hours per day excluding hour for a dutyfree lunch unless the building principal makes other arrangements.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of Support Personnel.
