Role Junior Controls Engineer
Salary Circaper annum dependent on experience
Type Permanent
Location Gloucestershire
My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Junior Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team long term.
The Junior Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- BEng / BSc / HND / NVQ qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Any previous experience of working in a handson electrical manufacturing environment would be ideal
- Candidates who have recently completed their studies would suit this position well
- Knowledge of PLCs such as Allen Bradley Siemens Schneider etc. would be desirable
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Junior Controls Engineer role will involve:
- Working in a hands on environment carrying out PLC coding panel building machine wiring and final testing of equipment
- Providing technical support to customers as required
- Some occasional site visits
- Offering support to Apprentices
- Work with the engineering team to help improve processes where possible
