Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster.

We are dedicated to providing exceptional Royal Navy career training.

As an Instructor you will deliver training in Weapons Engineering principles to Phase 2 recruits

This role is Term Time only with 2 weeks leave at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. You will also get Bank holidays out with these times.

Job Description:

What youll be doing:

  • Deliver training in Royal Navy systems maintenance and faultfinding for the Weapons Engineering Department.
  • Support continuous improvement and meet quality/performance targets.
  • Enhance training delivery quality and teaching practices using learning technology.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Use data to improve services and performance.
  • Collaborate across Weapons Engineering departments.
  • Align activities with the Learning programmes objectives.

What were looking for:

  • Previous experience within Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical qualification would be preferred (Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage)
  • Any training qualifications would be desirable
  • A levels in Maths Chemistry Physics Biology etc would be highly desirable
  • An understanding of the Royal Navy Weapons engineering department would be highly advantageous
  • Experience of working with Midlevel stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business strategy and provide support to identify solutions to deliver that strategy.
  • Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level

Selborne is a wide scale 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UKbased suppliers.
