Job Description

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is a studiobased clientfocused and communityoriented firm founded in 1955. We are searching for a talented recruiter to join the MPS team!

  • Facilitate the fullcycle recruitment process from job posting through onboarding.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Senior Manager to work directly with practice and hiring managers define hiring criteria and create associated job postings.
  • Determine the position responsibilities as well as the experience and abilities the ideal candidate will possess.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to recruit early career candidates.
  • Manage early talent recruitment including summer interns student coops and recent graduate hires.
  • Attend and assist with the planning and of college career fairs.
  • Identify and recruit top talent by networking and building strong relationships via community outreach efforts college partnerships relevant websites etc. in the market to build pipelines.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to create travel plans and studio visits/interview scheduling with candidates.
Requirements


  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years of full cycle recruitment experience.
  • Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to work in cross functional team environment.
  • Must be assertive take initiative and be a proactive change agent.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and be flexible to changing workflow and demands.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with many competing priorities effectively and confidently.
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

The Following Skills Would be an Added Bonus:

  • Talent acquisition in professional services or the architectural engineering or construction industry
  • Proficiency utilizing a variety of sourcing tools i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Maintain knowledge of OFCCP requirements and general fair hiring practices.
