Job Description

Were excited to be looking for a new Fire (Major Works) Contract Manager to join our busy Fire Safety team. If youre passionate about delivering a service second to none and keeping people safe in their homes we want to hear from you!

In this role youll play a vital part in ensuring our customers wellbeing remains at the heart of everything we do. Supporting our residents throughout their tenancy and maintaining the highest standards of safety in their homes is our top priority.

No two days will be the same so youll need to bring plenty of enthusiasm a cando attitude and a genuine passion for going the extra mile. Youll be responsible for coordinating and delivering external consultants and contractorled major building and fire safety improvement programmes across Abris property stock. This work will align with our fire risk management strategy and customer engagement approach.

Youll lead and motivate a team to deliver building and fire safety planned works making sure everything complies with relevant legislation including requirements set by the Building Safety Regulator while also delivering an exceptional customer experience. Youll ensure contracts are delivered safely on time and within budget with all work thoroughly documented to support regulatory needs enforcement bodies or legal proceedings if necessary.

Managing major works contractors will be a key part of your role ensuring full compliance with safety legislation particularly the Construction Design and Maintenance Regulations 2015. Youll also be responsible for documenting the findings of Building Safety investigations collating photographic evidence and communicating effectively with all stakeholders to support a clear and actionable remediation plan.
