What were looking for

As our Stock Controller for our Northern Region youll oversee all aspects of finished stock in Scotland. This will include managing perpetual inventory and cyclical stock counting to ensure accurate stock records. Yoll plan and coordinate the movement of stock within the AG Barr Group and to 3rd party storage facilities whilst ensuring all products are available to meet customer demand and can be distributed efficiently from our Scottish Distribution Centre in Cumbernauld.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Perpetual inventory and cyclical stock counting in order to maintain the integrity of the stock file.
  • Identify errors investigate correct and report with findings.
  • Ensure that procedures are adhered to with all stock movements
  • Support warehouse teams with any stock related issues.
  • Collate and input all related stock reports required by the operation.
  • Review operations schedules and requirements to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Responsible for and leading the whole 3rd party storage stock holding process
  • You may on occasion be required to support within the Rework function.

What youll bring

  • Experience and a good working knowledge of warehouse management systems is essential.
  • Experience of inventory control is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work on your own initiative.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Computer literate to a proficient level Google suite is advantageous.
  • A team player with a flexible approach particularly due to the dual aspect of this role.
