Job Description
Immediate Opening for a 2nd Shift Service Clerk/Material Handler in the Yellow Springs area.

- Utilize forklift equipment to move product throughout facility.
- Load up product for each order onto skids.
- Fastens plastic or metal bands around product and/or shrink wraps as needed.
- Properly labelcompleted order for shipment.
- Picking/pulling of daily orders as capable without forklift when needed.
- Mix plaster material & emptyhoppers when needed.
- Operate Bobcat sweeper equipment and dump truck while on company property to move materials.
- Performs any other duties related to the position as directed by the Distribution Manager or Shipping Lead.
- Perform regular 5S of Inventory and Shop Floor areas.
- Maintain asafe and clean workingenvironment.
- To perform the essential functions of this job the ability to be trained upon and then safely & effectively operate the following equipment:Tape measure pallet jack hand truck plastic & metal band strapper barcode scan gun pneumatic drill driver staple gun nail gun.
- Verifies and reseals boxes if necessary.
- Ability to meet regular attendance requirements.
- Ability to drive forklift bobcat & dump truckequipment.
- Ability to read and understand order releases.
- Prior experience with hand bander robot wrap machine or similar preferred.
- Must be able to work independently while multitasking.
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (safety glasses closed toe/closed heel shoes)
- Reasoning ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex multistep instructions.
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
- Ability to bend squat kneel reach and walk >75 of workday.
- Possess a full range of motion of arms and hands with ability to finger handle or feel articles to differentiate their textures.
- Ability to hear to distinguish sounds such as buzzers and forklift horns truck backup warnings.
