Summary/Objective
Paraeducator II The Paraeducator II works with students throughout the school unlike a Paraeducator I who works with students within one or several classrooms. The Paraeducator II provides instructional and clerical support under the supervision of a classroom teacher or a program coordinator/administrator. Paraeducator II positions exist to support student achievement in special education resource rooms and alternative school and in specific areas such as literacy and career and technical education. Paraeducator II positions exist within schools throughout the district.

AtWill Notice of Employment does not provide a guarantee of a particular schedule of work or a minimum number of days or hours.
These are 9month 32hour per week positions. This position is eligible for medical benefits. Employee will work eight hours per day Monday through Thursday during core business hours.
Required Education and Experience

Working with students or children.
Required Certifications/Licenses
May require First Aid/CPR certification and/or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
