Our Banquet Server makes a difference by:

  • Must be at least 19 years of to serve alcoholic beverages

As a Banquet Server you will:

  • The Banquet Captain is responsible for the successful setup service cleanup and tear down of banquet events.
  • Set tables buffets bars and snack breaks in assigned area correctly and accurately.
  • Professionally serve food and beverages butlerstyle table side and from buffets.
  • Monitor tables buffets and breaks to keep them clean stocked and visually appealing.
  • Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds the guests expectations.
  • Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Always exhibit professionalism and friendliness.
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items contents preparation methods and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions.
  • Perform all cleaning opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this role you need a professional demeanor a warm and welcoming personality and must be able to engage easily and actively connect with others. Be genuinely caring and compassionate and visibly demonstrate desire to understand others. Have natural instincts and insight for finding the best solution to unclear situations issues and problems. Create confidence and trust while communicating the right message at the right time. Be comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels. Be direct yet tactful and considerate of the audience. Speak with others using clear and professional language being direct yet tactful. Must be available on days nights weekends and holidays. Clean professional other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager. Hotel management experience required and hospitality degree preferred.

This role requires standing walking and sitting for extended period through shift. Requires the ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (i.e. small print computer). Grasp turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and handeye coordination. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance.
