Who are we looking for
GHD Technology Advisory is seeking a dynamic Team Leaderto guide a team of technology consultants and develop innovative consulting led solutions that address complex challenges for our clients in assetintensive infrastructure sectors including Water Transport Environment Energy and Construction.
To excel in this role you should have a background in management consulting within assetintensive infrastructure sectors and experience leading technologydriven business and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires expertise in consulting and designing technologydriven solutions for assetbased information management IoT (e.g. smart meters) and business process workflow automation while expanding our Technology Advisory offerings.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Develop manage and lead highvalue integrated solutions across capabilities engage with clients project teams technology partners and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of projects and proposals
- Manage the daytoday functioning of the team by ensuring that key objectives are met building team capability around technical delivery project and client outcomes
- Assist in the management of team members throughout the employment lifecycle (Safety / Wellbeing Recruitment On boarding Performance Planning and Review and Professional Development)
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams across both Technology Advisory and Business Advisory teams particularly in asset consulting and asset information management
What you will bring to the team
- Bachelors or masters degree in Engineering Science Mathematics Management or Information/Computer Sciencerelated field
- 10 years of experience in delivery management for technology projects within a consulting environment preferably within the water transport energy and/or resources industries
- Strong knowledge of technology trends systems and solutions pertinent to the targeted industries
- Professional certifications such as PMP ITIL or relevant industryspecific qualifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of emerging IoT Industrial Automation Cybersecurity RPA/IA technologies solutions and underlying IT services
- Previous experience or readiness to manage a small team (typically 1 to 12 team members
