Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for new business development targeting medium to large companies. You will sell custom label printing flexible packaging and other premium solutions to clients in various industries focusing on quality and value rather than price competition. This is a remotefirst role with flexibility reporting to the VP of Sales. The base salary is from $75000 to $125000 plus commission.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base Salary:

  • No Print related experience: $70000 $75000
  • With industry experience (based on experience): $90000 $120000

OnTarget Earnings (First Year):

  • No industry experience: $100000 $125000
  • With industry experience: $125500 $150000

  • Commissions on top of the base salary
  • Car Allowance: Reimbursement for client visits

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office: Etobicoke ON
  • Work Model: Primarily hybrid to remote with occasional inoffice visits for meetings and training
  • Sales Territory: Primarily covers Ontario.

EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years in B2B sales ideally in labels printing or related industries
  • Experience in label printing flexible packaging or commercial printing is an asset but candidates from adjacent industries (e.g. equipment sales general printing) may also be considered

  • Excel Basic
  • PowerPoint Basic
  • MS Word Basic

  • Custom Labels: Highquality premium printing solutions
  • Flexible Packaging: Tailored packaging solutions for diverse industries
  • Tags & Boxes: Additional branding and packaging products

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISIONMAKER(S):

  • Industries: Beverage Personal Care Sports Nutrition Food and Household Products
  • Target Clients: Medium to large businesses 100 employees)
  • DecisionMakers: Purchasing Departments MidManagement and Senior Leadership (VP/Director level)

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE

  • Sales Cycle: 16 months depending on the client and order size
  • Deal Size: $250000 $annually
  • Sales Process: Typically involves 46 sales calls/meetings before closing

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:

  • Rare and only occasional (maybe once per year)

SUPPORT & TRAINING:

  • Sales Training: 23 months of mentorship and handson learning
  • Technical Training: Product and technology training 23 weeks)
  • Ongoing Support: Daily communication with leadership flexible guidance structure
