Job Description
- Complete projects on time and within budget while ensuring that roofing teams work in safe conditions
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Superintendents on each project
- Responsible for planning and controlling every stage of roofing installations or repairs on commercial properties for multiple concurrent projects
- Projects are located throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas; must be willing to visit multiple sites
- Projects include retail facilities schools hotels office complexes strip malls and free standing buildings
- Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules
- Supervise teams and inspect the quality of work to ensure standards are met
- Ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines
- Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work
- Manage and keep job status up to date at all times
- Keep schedule up to date forecast coming up on a monthly basis and keep track of crew locations
- Be the main source of contact both internal and external
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Must have at least two years of experience working on commercial projects
- Demonstrated effective supervisory skills and have the ability to motivate and direct actions of others
- Critical skills including planning organizing and problem identification and resolution
- Strong attention to detail and experience working with Microsoft Office products
- Possess experience in project costing and planning
- Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision
- Bachelors Degree is a plus but not a requirement
