Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific to assist customers in finding cures protecting the environment and ensuring food safety.

Location/Division Specific Information

The Cincinnati site specializes in making oral solid drugs and developing them for the Pharma Services Group.

How will you make an impact

Manages cross functional deliverables and communication to improve key project achievements. Performs day-to-day client project tasks. Manages cross-functional deliverables and communication to enhance key project milestones.

What will you do

  • Assists Project Managers in change of scope writing.
  • Manages small projects.
  • Responsible for generating internal forms required for ongoing projects and newly awarded projects.
  • Serves as customer logistics coordinator for the site including customer hosting and batch observations logistics support and coordinates customer office assignments.
  • Supports Project Managers with project and account activities including but not limited to managing proposal introduction into Changepoint (PM software) invoicing completed deliverables and project kickoff support.

How will you get here

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required with 3 years of work experience.
  • Bachelors degree preferred with 0-1 year of work experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant work experience may be considered.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and practical knowledge of GMPs.
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to solve problems make decisions independently and coordinate projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with employees in multiple areas and job levels.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
