General Position Summary:
Assists Site Custodial Supervisor at assigned site(s) ensuring that customer standards and contract specifications and are fulfilled and within budget. Ensures quality and safety standards are met at all times.
Essential Functions:
- Performs custodial duties at assigned site(s).
- Leads and directs workers in required custodial duties at assigned sites.
- Ensures building security at specified site(s).
- Assists supervisor as requested and assigned.
- Maintains frequent contact with supervisor throughout shift.
- Notifies supervisor of any problems encountered in performance of assigned duties.
- Ensures site(s) are cleaned per contract specifications and within established time perimeters.
- Ensures safe work practices and compliance with policies and procedures are maintained.
Secondary Functions:
- May be requested to transport supplies and crew.
- Performs quality assurance.
- Provides input on ways the organization can create integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
- Attends meetings and participates on teams/committees as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Conditions:
This position requires the incumbent to work in an environment where there may be exposure to fumes noise dirt dust chemicals odors building temperature fluctuations and biohazards. Other working conditions include:
Working alone; oncall status; shift work; disagreeable contacts; and frequent interruptions. May be required to attend meetings outside of regular shift.
